We truly enjoyed our stay here. Library in the lobby, convenient. Manhattan district won't disappoint you.
Our bed was old.
-
The location is perfect, the bed is comfortable. Friendly staff accommodated all the needs. We appreciated to have a modern bathroom. Furthermore, free Wi Fi - was a nice touch.
The only thing missing was restaurant.
-
It is a great hotel, location is Awesome and staff is exceptional. Booked a superior double room with a heating system, a safe and a work desk. We really loved our coffee with goodies at Hard Rock Cafe.
-
Location
it's very dark in the room, no chandelier.
-
Cozy atmosphere. Not crowded.
The staff was not as helpful as I have experienced at other hotels. The coffee/tea bar was out of water for tea and also out of tea bags. When informed of this their response was " we will get to it shortly" but 30 minutes later the situation was the same.
-
There is a nice library on the ground floor with complimentary hot drinks. The rooms were clean and modern.
I felt that the hotel staff were not nearly polite enough on the phone or in person for the cost of the room. We were literally snubbed when I called to enquire if the room was ready 2 hours before checking, as I was told to do by the concierge.
-
Very expensive compared to what you get, small rooms in an old outdated hotel. Staff is not friendly, breakfast was terrible for extreme price (US35)

It is a beautiful old hotel. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was reasonably priced and spacious. We were there during Hurricane Sandy and the hotel staff managed the situation very well. The complimentary coffee machine with lattes, expresso, etc. was a great touch.
-
Responsive staff, breakfast dining, sitting room with coffee
A bit darker inside than was comfortable

The location was good.
Our room was very small. It was noisy most of the night. I did not like the inability to adjust the a/c. It came on and off and will and contributed to not being able to sleep well at all. I would not likely stay there again.

For our first experience in New York it was terrific. All five of us had a wonderful time and loved how close it was to everything. The concierge was really helpful and was so professional . We just loved it and would book again. The city was amazing!! I celebrated my 70th birthday with my two daughters and two friends.l What an wonderful 6 days.
-
bad advice to availability, we have not been selected for the room reservation, the bathroom had no sink integrated, no air conditioning, safety and problem isolation, much work in the face of otel and lots of noise. staff did not respond to the request to change room because no dispsonible

Hotel is only 2 blocks away from the times square, and few steps away from the 5th avenue, which makes the location a premier. Staff were very helpful and friendly, they are also knowledgeable. The hotel offers light hot drinks for free which makes it convenient for the guests. The concierge was really friendly and I appreciate his attention all the times. The bed was big and comfort including nice linings as well. Free WiFi is a plus and also the minibar & the safe.
The air conditioning is extremely noisy. We asked to change the room because of that and the staff were kind enough and replaced the room but unfortunately the noise was even more! Hotel management should consider to install rubber noise dampers under all air conditioning units.
-
The hotel had loads of old world charm, was tastefully decorated in a stylish and understated manner and was very conveniently located between Times Square and Fifth Avenue. It was small enough to feel personal and intimate.
There was no particular outlook from our room.

price was goos , clan and friendly nice building
beds a little to soft and needed a bigger mirror in the bathroom
